Clearfield Creek is located in Clearfield And Cambria Counties in central Pennsylvania

The Clearfield Creek Watershed Association is a volunteer group dedicated to the improvement and maintenance of high quality water and biota in this watershed

Acid mine drainage from coal mines is a major environmental problem for our watershed

Twelve acres of the previously barren Ferris Wheel strip have been revegetated!

We received two awards in 2008 and one in 2010:

Watershed Group of the Year - Clearfield County Conservation District

Watershed Protection Award for 2008 - Cambria County Conservation District

Outstanding Watershed Group of the Year, 2010, West Branch Susq. Restoration Coalition

We received another grant in 2009:

Amsbry Design and Permitting, PA Growing Greener, $43,000

In 2010 we received an EPA 319 grant to complete resstoration of the Ferris Wheel site
